Our modular handrail system meets the requirements laid out by the Disability Discrimination Act and is crafted from very strong steel; making it a safe, reliable option. Its PVC coating provides the 'warm to touch' benchmark set out by the Building Regulations, too.
Each connector fits flush, which gives the handrails a smooth and professional aesthetic. What's more, there are no protruding points and the product's ribbed surface offers the slip-resistant surface required by the Building Regulations. To ensure high visibility, the handrails are available in standard safety yellow or grey.
With adjustable fittings on offer, the handrails can be tailored to most applications and only security fixings are used - assuring that the handrails cannot be tampered with. Also, the rails are 45mm in diameter, meeting another requirement of the Building Regulations.
In addition the handrail system has been load tested to BS6180 : 1999 and BS 6399-1 : 1996. Test data available on request
